Providing evidence to support declarations about professional practice for renewal of registration
Teachers make legally binding self-declarations about their maintenance of professional practice and continuing suitability to teach when applying to renew their registration. To ensure the integrity of this process, a random selection of teachers will be asked to verify their declarations about maintenance of professional practice. Continuing suitability to teach is verified through a current and satisfactory National Criminal History Record Check.
