Returning to teaching from non-practising registration
Returning registration is granted with conditions which have to be met before full registration is approved.Teachers will be required to provide evidence of days teaching and hours of professional development according to the following table.

*Any professional development undertaken in the 12 months prior to returning from non-practising status can be counted.
For example:
A teacher submits an application to return in January: they will need to complete 5 days and 10 hours by 30 September of that year.
A teacher submits an application to return in June: they will need to complete 10 days and 20 hours by 30 September of the following year.
